Red epidote in quartz is a natural combination of clear to milky quartz with inclusions of epidote that range from soft green to reddish-brown and deep red. The epidote forms as fine crystalline needles or spots within the quartz and is created during hydrothermal processes in which minerals are slowly deposited into existing quartz formations.

Large +/- 40g at 45x30x25mm.
