Stichtite is a rare gemstone that ranges in color from soft lilac and pink to deep purple. The color intensity can vary depending on the concentration of chromium in the mineral. Stichtite is often found in combination with other minerals, such as serpentine, which sometimes creates beautiful contrasts in rocks where both minerals occur.
